Martin Pierce Furnishings was founded in 1994 by Martin and Anne Pierce. The company specializes in original hand crafted furniture which they make at their studio in Los Angeles and are available to the trade through design professionals. Their organic and transitional styles include Hedgerow, Seicho, Ascot and Rickshaw. Martin Pierce Hardware Inc. was founded in 2002 and grew from the original cabinet pulls that Martin developed for his Hedgerow furniture series. In 2002 Martin decided to take the project further and develop a comprehensive line of door handles. The project is just beginning and in the near future he hopes to adapt these designs into bathroom fixtures, electrical covers, bronze kitchen tiles and window hardware.
